Tim and Rachel are excited to partner with Zomba
Theological College in training the next
generation of pastors and teachers in Malawi.
Though it is just the size of Pennsylvania,
Malawi is home to more Presbyterians than live
in the entire United States, yet there is only
one trained pastor for every 5,000 church
members. Tim, an Old Testament and Hebrew
professor at Zomba, has always wanted to study
the Bible and help people understand it. In
addition to supporting Tim's teaching ministry
and caring for their two young sons, Rachel
advocates for global maternal health through her
writing and speaking and hopes also to partner
with Malawian sisters as a childbirth educator
and birth assistant.
JACKETS FOR DYER KELLY
Thank you to all who donated backpacks and granola bars
to our local Elementary School!
This month our Mission of the Month will be children’s
jackets and coats.
The children of Dyer Kelly often come to school without
any warm jacket. Sweatshirts, fleece jackets, down coats,
windbreakers, jackets and coats are all welcome!
The donations will be split between
our neighborhood school, Dyer Kelly, and the Chinle
Presbyterian Church.
Our youth went on a mission trip to Chinle a year ago,
and we have kept in contact with the Navajo ministry
in Chinle.
Our Mission Committee sent two huge boxes of coats to
the children of Chinle last year.
Please bring your donation of new or gently used coats
and jackets to worship.
A mission donation box is available in the narthex.

Sunday worship at 9:55AM. The Chancel
Choir sings at least one anthem every Sunday
and the hand bells ring regularly from September

Special Events
Throughout the
year we offer such activities as a Music Camp
for Children, Vacation Bible School, a Fall
Fun Festival with food and games and other entertainment
provided and in December we celebrate Jesus’
birthday with the guests bringing unwrapped
toys for children in need and cake and ice cream

Mission Work Northminster’s Local Mission program
supports the “Brown Bag Program” for those who
would benefit. We also provide aide and supplies
to Dyer Kelly School. We have many groups and
committees that dedicate their time to mission
work both local and out in the field.
