New Orleans
Luncheon
Sunday, February 22
is the last Sunday before Lent,
and at Northminster it is our tradition
to host a
Mardi Gras Jazz service
and New Orleans
Luncheon!!.
10am |
Mark your calendars, and better yet,
Invite Your Whole Neighborhood
to join us at 10:00 a.m. as we celebrate the day
with the sounds of the Sacramento Banjo Band!
"With three Mission trips to New Orleans, assisting in
the rebuilding of homes in the aftermath of Hurricane
Katrina, under our belt, we have some local experts on the
New Orleans fare.
Get psyched for Red Beans and Rice, Jambalaya and, of
course, the famous Red Velvet Cake! Yum! If you would
like to enjoy the fun of participating in planning our Mardi
Gras feast, please contact Opal Collins or Sue Ann Lehmkuhl."

"Crown Them King and Queen"
Last year we crowned Jack Carey and Alice Pyers our Mardi Gras King and Queen.
If you have someone you would like to
nominate to rule for an afternoon, please
contact Pastor Jeanie. |
