GET
INVOLVED - GET PLUGGED IN !!!
We know how hard it can be to
get plugged into a new church. Whether your new to
the Christian faith or are just new to our church we
would like to extend our arms and welcome you here!
One of the most rewarding parts of being a church
member is the fellowship you receive from getting
involved. But it can sometimes be intimidating to
reach out and attend a new group with new people.
Perhaps you do not even know where to get started.
Not sure what Bible study to attend, or where you
might be useful to the ministry? We would love to
help! Here are a couple ways we would love to help
you get plugged in...
We would love to talk to you,
set up a time to talk through what you are looking
for in your new church home. See where your gifts
and passions are. We can get to know you and find
other members that can take you under their wing for
a time while you get to know new people in the
church.
Check out our website! Our website can show you many
of ministries available to you; including, Adult
Bible Studies, Children's Ministries, Youth
Ministries, Mission Outreaches, Music Ministries,
and Fellowship Opportunities.

ONE SOLITARY LIFE
How do you explain the greatness of the man whose
birthday we celebrate on Christmas? He was born in
an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman. He
grew up in another village. He worked in a carpenter
shop until He was 30 and then for three years was an
itinerate preacher. He never wrote a book. He never
held office. He never traveled 200 miles from the
place where He was born. He never did one of the
things that usually accompany greatness. He had no
credentials but Himself.
Although He walked the land over, curing the sick,
giving sight to the blind, healing the lame and
raising people from the dead, the established
religious leaders turned against Him. His friends
ran away. He was turned over to His enemies. He went
through the mockery of a trial. He was spat upon,
flogged and ridiculed. He was nailed to a cross
between two thieves. While He was dying, the
executioners gambled for the only piece of property
He had on earth and that was His robe. When He was
dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave, through the
pity of a friend.
Nineteen wide centuries have come and gone and today
He is the
Central Figure of the column of progress.
All the armies that ever marched and the navies that
were ever built and all the parliaments that ever
sat and all the kings that ever reigned, put
together have not affected the life of man upon this
earth as has that One Solitary Life.
